I can't remember a time when I wasn't organizing. I grew up in a large family and it just came naturally to me. I began to share my organizing talents when I was a newlywed, and newlywed friends moving into new homes and needing help were plentiful. One friend told another, "You have to 'get organized with Maria,'"and my company was born.
As a mother of three children and the wife of a fashion designer, maintaining a household is no easy task. Teaching my children to live more organized lives with responsibility and accountability has given me a wealth of insight and experience. Supporting moms in their efforts to bring calm out of chaos has a ripple effect that lasts a lifetime. Less mess means less stress at any age.
One special niche that I enjoy in which I have extensive experience is working with clients who are challenged by ADD/ADHD. The creative, intuitive mind often appears disorganized when it is spread all over a desk or a room. However, there is a masterpiece that is often buried under the clutter. While I love helping the average person to get organized, I find extra joy in encouraging, supporting and teaching those who think, see an do things differently. Bringing order on the outside reveals the masterpiece within them. The possibilities are endless.
